Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas with an office in Austin, Texas, Cude Engineers has been providing civil engineering, land planning and surveying services for over three decades. Since the San Antonio firm was founded by Mike Cude in 1980, we have collaborated with land developers, school districts, public officials and other regional leaders to cultivate thriving communities. Today, our experienced staff makes up the “next generation” of the company, well-versed in the language of public and private engineering study and design, hydraulics and hydrology study and design, surveying and field observation.

Josh Cude, PE

Josh's passion for engineering and land development is a result of his dedication to promoting clients' missions. Josh serves as a trusted adviser and loyal advocate to his clients. His instincts, experience and desire to make a difference in communities across Central Texas have resulted in a proven strategy for successful projects that is unparalleled.

After graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BS in Civil Engineering, he embarked upon his career in the A/E/C industry with Cude Engineers. During his first ten years with the company, Josh served in multiple capacities, learning to grow and lead a successful engineering firm. In 2011, he became the Managing Partner of the company, and has since transitioned to the company role of President. Today, he continues to bring his vision for dynamic solutions and responsive service to Cude Engineers.

Chris Dice, PE
Executive Vice President

Chris understands that, in the A/E/C industry, one size does not fit all. Throughout his career, Chris has striven to look beyond the status quo to develop creative solutions tailored to project challenges and client needs. His broad knowledge base and team approach to engineering have equipped Chris with the creativity he needs to identify the best course of action.

Chris graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with his BS in Civil Engineering and has been a part of the Cude team for more than ten years. Starting his career at Cude as an EIT, Chris embarked upon a path of professional development that ultimately led him to a position in firm leadership, overseeing many of the day-to-day operations at Cude Engineers.

Michael Cude, PE, RPLS
Vice President

The name “Cude” has long been recognized in the A/E/C community. During the 40-plus years he has worked in this industry, Michael Cude has helped shape the landscape of San Antonio. His philosophy of delivering innovative solutions and high-quality service to his clients has earned Mike and the entire Cude organization a reputation for creativity and excellence.

Mike, a native Texan from Poteet, attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a BS in Civil Engineering. His career in civil engineering began in New Orleans before moving to San Antonio where he established M.W. Cude and Associates, the forerunner of the current Cude Engineers. In 2002, Mike was acknowledged for his contributions to the engineering community by being recognized as TSPE's Engineer of the Year. Mike is responsible for Cude's legacy as a creative and diverse firm.
