Cude Engineers was founded in 1980, and has since grown into a leading provider of comprehensive civil engineering services in South Central Texas. With offices in San Antonio, Austin, and San Marcos, Cude provides civil engineering, land planning, and surveying services to cultivate thriving communities.

Josh Cude, PE

President and CEO

Josh’s passion for engineering and land development allows him to serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for his clients. His instincts, experience, and desire to make a difference help him to lead the firm to excellence by serving communities across Central Texas.

After graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Josh embarked upon his career in the A/E/C industry with Cude Engineers. During his first ten years with the company, Josh served in multiple capacities, learning to grow and lead a successful engineering firm. In 2011, he became the Managing Partner of the company, and has since transitioned to the role of President. Today, he continues to bring his vision for dynamic solutions and responsive service to Cude Engineers.

Chris Dice, PE

Executive Vice President

Chris understands that, in the A/E/C industry, one size does not fit all. Throughout his career, Chris has looked beyond the status quo to develop creative solutions tailored to project challenges and client needs. His broad knowledge base and team-focused approach to engineering give him the creativity he needs to identify the best course of action.

Chris graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and has been a part of the Cude team for more than twenty years. Starting his career at Cude as an EIT, Chris embarked on a path of professional development that ultimately led him to a position in firm leadership, overseeing day-to-day operations at Cude Engineers in San Antonio and particularly in Austin.

Scott Maham, PE

Division President - Austin

As Division President in Austin, Scott is passionate about being part of this important era in the development and growth of the Austin area.

Scott is an experienced civil engineer with design and business development experience. A graduate of Texas A&M University in 1989 (where he played Offensive Lineman), Scott has a background in oil and gas in Houston, and land development in Austin and San Antonio. Scott started at Cude in 2020 as a Senior Project Manager. He quickly took on a leadership role in the company, eventually moving to the company’s Austin office as Vice President, and finally becoming Division President – Austin in 2023. He oversees a variety of projects, including single family residential, commercial, and industrial.
